Some parents of kidnapped secondary school students in Nigeria have protested outside the school, to plead for the return of their wards.
The disturbed parents lined up outside the school gate, in the Kaduna State of Nigeria, demanding the return of many students who were kidnapped in a terrible situation on Sunday.
Over 140 students were captured by Gunmen after forcefully entering the compound of Bethel Secondary School, following an increase in the volume of abduction present in the northern region of Nigeria.
“We will continue to talk, we will make noise. We call on the international community, we call on every person that is involved or that is responsible in any way that can eliminate our problems, to come to our aid. We do not have help anymore. Please, they should come to our aid,”one of the disgruntled fathers said
Other Crimes Apart From Students Abduction
Meanwhile, several criminals have gone on a spree of raids in some villages along the northern and central parts of Nigeria. Some of their activities include stealing livestock and attacking highway travellers.
On their part, the Kaduna authorities have announced the deployment of special police units to capture the kidnappers and bring them to book.
